After a significant hiatus from competitive sports, I made an inspiring return to the marathon scene at the 37th Marathon Comar. This event, held in Tunis, marked not just a personal milestone for me, but also a testament to the resilience and determination that athletes embody.

Having taken a break from racing, I knew the road back to competition would be fraught with challenges.

Yet, my commitment to training and my passion for running shone through as I prepared for the 21.1 KM race. Participating in this half marathon not only showcased my physical endurance but also highlighted my mental fortitude, as I navigated the complexities of returning to the sport after time away.

Crossing the finish line with a time of 2:29:15, I secured a respectable rank of 1644 among many competitors. This achievement was a reminder that the spirit of an athlete remains alive, regardless of the time spent away from the sport.

This event symbolized more than just a race; it represented a journey filled with dedication, hard work, and the joy of competition. As I step back into the world of athletics, I hope to inspire others to embrace their own comebacks, proving that it’s never too late to chase your passions.

With my sights set on future events, I look forward to what’s next in my journey. The marathon community has welcomed me back with open arms, and I’m excited to continue my path in the sport.
