I’m honored to have been invited to DACCOURDOU by the Italian Embassy, the Italian Cultural Institute of Tunis, and the Bardo Museum to the opening of the exhibition.

“Aspects and Forms of the Italian Cultural Presence in Tunisia. A Polysemic Photographic Narrative”

This exceptional DACCOURDOU event will take place on April 25, 2025, at the national museum of Bardo city.

The exhibition brings together the work of four internationally renowned photographers — Claudio Gobbi, Souad Mani, Giovanna Silva, and Tommaso Fiscaletti. Each exploring different dimensions of the cultural dialogue between Italy and Tunisia.

Their photographic interpretations promise a rich, multifaceted narrative of this enduring relationship.

Curated by Filippo Maggia, the exhibition is organized in collaboration with the INP and the Bardo Museum. And supported by the DGCC (Direzione Generale Creatività Contemporanea) of the Italian Ministry of Culture (MIC).

I look forward to immersing myself in this visual journey that bridges two Mediterranean cultures. And I’ll be sharing my impressions right after the event. Stay tuned!
